Who runs it

Fit Africa Fest is run by the Organising Committee of Fit Africa Fest, a business name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. When you buy a Ticket, your agreement is with the Organising Committee.

Questions about anything on this page: hello@fitafricafest.com.

Your Ticket

A Ticket is one named person's entry to Fit Africa Fest on Saturday 5 December 2026 at Delta Continental Hotel & Suites, Ajao Estate, Lagos. It is shown as a QR code on its own page, and checks in once at the gate.

A Registration costs ₦60,000 and covers you and one Plus-One you name. Each of you gets your own Ticket. The price is the same online and through a Rep.

Over-18s only

The evening serves alcohol, so everyone coming, Plus-Ones included, must be 18 or over. The gate may ask for photo ID.

No refunds

Tickets are not refundable. If you can no longer come, your Place can go to someone else instead: see Changes below.

If the Organising Committee cancels Fit Africa Fest, we refund the Ticket money to everyone who paid.

If your online payment is confirmed after the last Place has gone, you get your money back: our finance lead refunds it within 14 days.

Changes

The Organising Committee can change a Guest's or Plus-One's name, phone or email, add or swap a Plus-One, or swap a Guest who has sold their Place on to someone else, until the end of Saturday 28 November 2026 (the Change Deadline). A swapped person gets a new Ticket link and the old one stops working. After that, Tickets are final. There is no self-service: ask the Rep who sold you your Ticket, or email hello@fitafricafest.com.

A room can be added or changed until the last day the hotel sets, shown on the Stay page.

Accommodation

A room is for the night of Saturday 5 December at the venue, one per Registration, and needs a Ticket. Rooms come from a block the Organising Committee has secured with the hotel, so they can run out.

The workouts

You take part in the workouts at your own risk, so go at a pace that suits you. If you have a health condition or an injury, or you are pregnant, tell a member of staff before your first session.

At the gate and on the day

Each Ticket checks in once, and the first scan counts. Keep your Ticket link to yourself: if someone uses a forwarded copy first, your Ticket has already been used. Your Wristband shows whether you are a Guest or a Plus-One.

Look out for each other and drink responsibly. The Organising Committee and the hotel can refuse entry, or ask someone to leave, if their behaviour puts other people at risk, and there is no refund when that happens.

Photos and video

We take photos and video on the day to share Fit Africa Fest and to tell people about future editions. If you would rather not appear, tell the gate staff when you check in and our photographers will leave you out.

Seen yourself in something we shared and want it taken down? Email hello@fitafricafest.com.

Privacy

Who looks after your details

The Organising Committee of Fit Africa Fest is the data controller for what this site collects, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Write to hello@fitafricafest.com about anything here.

What we collect

  • For a Guest: name, phone and email. Email is optional when you buy through a Rep.
  • For a Plus-One: name and phone, and email if you give one.
  • Whether you booked a room, and the payment reference and amount.
  • Your Mailing List answer, with when and how you gave it.
  • From the Partners form: what you send us.

Paystack takes online payments, so we never see your card or bank details.

What we use it for

To issue and send your Ticket, to check you in on the day, to give the hotel its room list if you book a room, and to contact you about this year's Fit Africa Fest. We need these details to give you what you paid for. Partner enquiries are used only to reply.

The Mailing List is the one thing we use your details for only because you said yes to it.

Who else handles it

  • Paystack, for online payments.
  • Resend, which sends Ticket emails, and WhatsApp, for Ticket messages.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts this site, checks forms for bots and counts visits without cookies.
  • Delta Continental, which gets the name and phone number of each Guest who books a room.

Some of these companies store data outside Nigeria, and each gets only what its job needs.

Inside the Organising Committee, a Rep sees only their own sales. The phones at the gate hold only names, Ticket codes and the last four digits of each phone number.

The Mailing List

The Mailing List is for hearing about future editions of Fit Africa Fest. You join only if you choose to: the box on the Register form starts unticked, and a Rep ticks it only if you say yes. A Plus-One decides for themselves, on their own Ticket page. You can leave at any time by emailing hello@fitafricafest.com.

Deletion on Sunday 31 January 2027

On Sunday 31 January 2027, every Guest and Plus-One who is not on the Mailing List is deleted. We keep only totals: Places sold, money in and Check-ins. For people on the Mailing List we keep name, phone, email, and when and how they joined.

Partner enquiries are deleted on Sunday 31 January 2027 too.

Your details, your call

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, to leave the Mailing List, or to object to how we use your details, email hello@fitafricafest.com or ask the Rep who sold you your Ticket.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
